The
Department has excellent computing facilities for student use.Departmental
computing laboratories, including the Thomas J. Rentenbach
CEE Computing Lab, contain well over 100 networked
computers.
A
full-time professional systems administrator, two full-time
computing support specialists, and a team of student assistants
facilitate the operation of the computer laboratories.
These labs are designed for classroom instruction.
Each station can accommodate a team of students. Instructors
are empowered using SynchronEyes, a software tool that can
allow them to broadcast to or from each computing station—ideal
for presentations.
