Biographical
Mr. Oppliger's teaching interests include graphics, visualization, and computer aided design.  His research interests include educational methods.  His current research project is Development of the First Year Engineering Program. Prior to his teaching career, Mr. Oppliger worked as a project engineer in the marine construction industry. Aside from his work at MTU, Mr. Oppliger enjoys many outdoor activities and playing guitar.
