Her teaching
interests include graphics and visualization, computer
applications, statics and mechanics of materials.
Her research
interests include Development & Assessment of Engineering
Fundamentals 1 (ENG 1101), Educational Methods and the impact of
spacial visualization instruction. Prior to
teaching Ms. Veurink worked in the field of onsite wastewater
disposal.
In her spare
time Ms. Veurink enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and exploring the
Keweenaw. She is also a board member of the Keweenaw Land Trust.
